A Spike in Athletics

A Spike in Athletics

Our Athletics programs are back and better than ever! The Bradley Street Concord Clubhouse will be shortly beginning their volleyball program, led by staff member Ethan Basch. This program will include 4th-12th grade students. The Lakes Region Clubhouse will soon be rolling out their athletics programming, which will include pickleball opportunities.

For Lakes Region athletics information, you may email Tyreke Harris at tharris@nhyouth.org. For Concord, you may email Ethan Basch at ebasch@nhyouth.org.

Welcoming Back Afterschool

Welcoming Back Afterschool

Members of the boys and girls club celebrate the end of the school year. They are sitting on a side and many of the kids are smiling. Over the next week, programs will be switching over from summer camp to fall as our members return to school. We’ve had a fantastic summer – from visiting Odiorne Point, Fishercats Stadium, all the way up to the mountains. We’ve made new friends and learned new skills along the way. We wish all our members an exciting first day of school!

Louis is a bus driver for many of our programs, and he is so much more! Louis is kind and patient with all the children; they absolutely love him. He has a fantastic sense of humor, and he’s not afraid to get out and come play with sites when they are on field trips. He is dependable and consistent. “We wouldn’t trade him for the world!” Looking at this photo from a field trip last week, we understand why!
ACROSS NH Partners with the Club

ACROSS NH Partners with the Club

Every day, over 25,000 children in New Hampshire spend time in an after school program or other Out of School Time (OST) opportunity. As ACROSS NH works to make these programs more innovative and effective, the Boys & Girls Club is proud to serve as its fiscal agent.  The Club has benefited from ACROSS NH trainings for almost two decades and is happy to play a role in making these programs accessible to all providers throughout the state.
