TV Auction- Held in early December

First aired in 1973, the annual TV Auction is our longest-running fundraiser and a holiday tradition!  Aired live on Concord TV with additional online bidding and streaming at bid4kids.org, the auction is a true community event that draws in hundreds of viewers for a bidding extravaganza on items donated from hundreds of local businesses.

 

North Country Casino Night – Held in Late January

Casino Night – a fundraising event for prizes. Held at Maplewood Country Club in Bethlehem NH the North Country Casino night includes Blackjack, Craps, Texas Hold’Em, Roulette, Dancing, Silent Auction, Raffle and a Buffet Dinner. All proceeds benefit the North Country Club.

 

Robbie Mills Memorial 8 Ball Tournament – Held in Early March

The annual Robbie Mills Memorial 8 Ball Tournament was created in 2007. the tournament was born to benefit the Lakes Region Boys & Girls Club and now continues to support the club and the Greater Lakes Region Children’s Auction. Greater Concord Golf Tournament- Held in Early May

Connect with old friends and network with new ones at the first benefit tournament of the season. The event sells out every year, hosting 180 golfers and volunteers with ties to the Club and to the community.

 

North Country Golf Tournament- Held in Early June

Held at Maplewood Golf Club the Annual “Tee It Up Fore Kids” Golf Tournament. The tournament is held in a scramble format and we will have an 8am shotgun start. All proceeds raised by this event benefit the Boys & Girls Club of the North Country.

 

Lakes Region Golf Tournament- Held in Late June

This tournament kicks off the summer season in the Lakes Region and showcases the community’s strong support for its local Boys & Girls Clubs!  Capacity is approximately 150 golfers.

 

Classic Car Gala Dinner; Cars & Coffee – Held in early August

The gala celebrates a weekend of events highlighting some of the region’s most impressive vintage cars and motorcycles.  Set on a lovely private estate in Sanbornton, the 2024 gala will celebrate the 1947 Allard Roadster and fashion of the forties. The evening features dinner (catered this year by “Top Chef” contestant and James Beard Nominee Chef Chris Viaud’s Greenleaf Restaurant!), dancing and an auction to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of the Lakes Region Endowment Trust.  

Join us the next day for Cars & Coffee, a free event. Exhibit your car, or join us just to view – all while enjoying some local coffee. This event is free but gladly accepts donations to the Boys & Girls Club.

 

Mt. Sunapee Duck Drop- Held in early October

Join us as part of Mount Sunapee fall harvest festivities! Event-goers ride the chairlift and aim rubber ducks toward targets the whole way up. It’s all part of a full afternoon of fun and prizes at Mt. Sunapee that draws hundreds from throughout the region and raises thousands of dollars for Club kids.

 

Taste of New Hampshire- Held in mid October

The Taste of New Hampshire features signature dishes and desserts from over 30 area restaurants, as well as a variety of beer and wine samples for guests to choose from.  A fun, casual event that makes for a great night out with family, friends or co-workers.

 

For many children and families, the Boys & Girls Club is more than just a fun place to go. It is life-changing.
